Sailing in Golden Gate Park
Sailing in Golden Gate Park, originally uploaded by christinecoit.
I was just leaving Spreckels Lake in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park when I briefly turned around to see this man and his model yacht. I loved his pose–leaning on his pole, adjusting his hat–and was pleased beyond words that his yacht changed direction so that the sail was actually visible. (It had been just a thin white line sailing straight towards me a split-second before.)
very zen 🙂
Thanks! By the way, your blog is fantastic! I really like your “100 Things I Have Learned About Photography” post. 🙂
Really nice shot Christine–great balance! The shot that is…though the gentleman seems to be holding his own too.
Thanks, Christopher–for the comment and the chuckle that accompanied it. 🙂
